Plasma TV Wall
Brackets
There are many types of Plasma TV Wall Brackets available for you to choose
from...
When shopping
for plasma tv wall brackets, three different types of wall mounts exist to compare and select. They each have
differing options comparable to the next type of wall bracket depending upon what you need for the wall mount of
the plasma tv. The three main types are the low profile, full motion, and tilting options on the market
today.
Low Profile
Installing the low profile plasma tv wall
brackets is the easiest among the three available. These types of wall brackets are also considered the most
affordable when compared to the other two mounting styles.
The clear advantage to choosing the low profile mounting style over the other two
available is that it is very easy to install the brackets. Hanging them up is similar to putting a nail in the
wall. The disadvantage of this type of wall installation process is that once the tv is installed upon the
brackets, there is no way to adjust it.
These types of wall mounts are not able to
move from side to side or up and down. They remain static fixed in one location. Since these wall brackets for
plasma tvs restrict movement of the equipment, switching out the cables is difficult. Removing the panel off of the
wall first is necessary in order to switch the cables when using this type of wall
mount.
Tilting
Tilting plasma tv wall brackets are more expensive than the low profile mounts and
remain comparable in affordability to the full motion mounts.
Installing the wall mounts that tilt is just
as easy as installing mounts that are low profile. A tilting wall mount’s difference from the static mount is that
the view can be tilted vertically.
These types of brackets for wall mounts are able to be tilted up and down on a pivot
along the middle of the bracket. Keeping a good angle for viewing the TV can be essential depending upon the spot
where you are sitting or standing in the room.
Comparing the low profile wall mount to that of the tilting when
changing out cables results in easier transition of replacement. Although the feature for tilting may be
limited, the movement vertically may be ideal in most situations.
Full Motion
The most expensive and
fullest range of movement type of wall mount is the full motion.
These types of wall mounts are harder to install due to moving pieces. The full
motion plasma tv wall brackets have an arm or swivel that is attached to the brackets, making it more difficult to
install these types of wall mounts.
The advantage of a full motion tilt and
swivel wall mount is that you are able to tilt and move the tv around to the right position you may want it to be
in. Horizontal viewing is possible when purchasing this type of wall mount for plasma tvs. The arm makes this full
motion of the mount for the tv possible by extending it from along the wall to offer a higher variety of
motion.
